CnPilot™ and 5th Utility Make Classroom Wi-Fi a Walk in the Park

5th Utility was tasked with upgrading the aging Wi‑Fi at Tickford Park Primary School, which suffered regular outages, poor security, and an obsolete wireless controller. To meet the school’s need for a reliable, cost‑effective upgrade with minimal downtime, 5th Utility selected Cambium Networks solutions, including cnPilot access points and the cnMaestro cloud management system.

5th Utility deployed Cambium Networks’ cnPilot e410 Indoor and e500 Outdoor APs, preconfigured and bench‑tested with cnMaestro, and reused existing data point locations to speed installation. Because cnMaestro and the APs were preconfigured and PoE was validated beforehand, the cutover was completed within one day, avoiding classroom disruption; all devices connected and roaming as planned, delivering strong wireless performance, expanded coverage, and a scalable platform for future growth.
