CITITEA Brews Retail Success with Top Shelf Wi-Fi

Exands Networks, a leading commercial wireless service provider in China, faced unstable, hard‑to‑manage Wi‑Fi in retail sites such as CITITEA’s 40+ teahouses after initial low‑cost APs failed to scale. They needed a reliable, centrally managed solution to support POS terminals, QR‑code self‑ordering and guest internet access, and evaluated vendor products to meet those needs — ultimately selecting Cambium Networks’ cnPilot access points with cnMaestro on‑premises management.

Cambium Networks implemented cnPilot Indoor APs managed centrally by cnMaestro, delivering a controller‑less WLAN that eliminated local controllers and simplified operations. The deployment reliably supports about 30 active devices per store (cash registers, ordering and guest Wi‑Fi), improved stability and monitoring, reduced the need for on‑site IT staff, and scales to CITITEA’s expansion plans — delivering faster ordering and checkout and measurable operational savings for Exands Networks.
