Camping Kirchzarten - Customer Case Study

Camping Kirchzarten, a family-run campsite near Freiburg and named Baden-Württemberg’s best campsite in 2024, faced unreliable, low-bandwidth Wi‑Fi across extensive indoor and outdoor grounds that previously forced the WLAN to be deactivated during peaks. To deliver a scalable, high‑density, roaming-capable network, Camping Kirchzarten worked with Cambium Networks (via partner Genial‑Media GbR) to deploy Cambium hardware and services, including XV2-2T0 outdoor APs, XV2-2X indoor APs, cnWave V1000 fixed wireless links and cloud-based cnMaestro management.

Cambium Networks’ solution—19 XV2-2T0 outdoor APs, 6 XV2-2X indoor APs, 2 cnWave V1000 links and cnMaestro centralized management—went live for the 2024 season and delivered uninterrupted, high‑speed coverage with seamless roaming across the entire site. The upgrade improved guest connectivity and digitized staff processes, earned immediate positive feedback, and set a future-ready baseline (with planned fiber for 2025), demonstrating clear operational and guest-experience gains from the Cambium Networks deployment.
