Cambium Networks Wi-Fi Solutions Help Connect People to Their Heritage on Liberty Island

The Statue of Liberty‑Ellis Island Foundation, Inc. preserves and shares the history of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and needed reliable indoor and outdoor Wi‑Fi to support visitors and staff in the museum and across Liberty Island. To meet that need, the Foundation deployed Cambium Networks’ Xirrus X‑Series indoor and outdoor access points along with Cambium EasyPass guest management and XMS cloud management.

Cambium Networks delivered high‑density two‑ and four‑radio APs that cover the 21,000‑square‑foot museum and outdoor areas, connecting more than four million visitors per year (up to 25,000 per day) with fast, stable access for calls, streaming and social sharing. The Cambium solution simplified guest onboarding and registration, gave the Foundation centralized visibility and scalable security via XMS Cloud, and provided the capacity and low latency required for voice and video applications.
