Cambium Networks Voip Quality Brings Additional Revenue to a Service Provider and Improves Voice Quality for Customers

Farmers Mutual Telephone Company, a 100% residential provider serving Fruitland, Idaho, faced unreliable service after its 3.65 GHz WiMAX network struggled to deliver broadband and voice across long distances and near-line-of-sight (NLOS) terrain. Cambium Networks was engaged to address these challenges using its PMP450 integrated with the C3VoIP-150 platform (ATA C3VoIP), delivering VoIP and data over the unlicensed 2.4 GHz band with QoS and low-latency support.

Cambium Networks’ PMP450/C3VoIP-150 solution was quick to deploy, easy to scale and immediately produced revenue by enabling Farmers Mutual to sell packaged VoIP services. The deployment delivered toll-quality calls with reduced jitter and packet loss through dynamic monitoring, simplified operations via PoE-powered SMs and remote provisioning, lowered costs versus copper or fiber, and positioned the provider for rapid expansion.
