Case Study: Southern Rework achieves reliable, cost-effective enterprise and industrial WiFi connectivity with Cambium Networks

A Cambium Networks Case Study

Preview of the Southern Rework Case Study

Business and Industrial Broadband Connectivity Solutions that Work

Southern Rework, a Melbourne-based systems integrator specializing in point-of-sale, cabling and deployment services, needed a reliable, low‑cost enterprise and industrial broadband/WiFi solution for supermarkets, warehouses, cafés, ports and other multi‑site environments. To replace costly or problematic alternatives and reduce onsite support, Southern Rework chose Cambium Networks’ cnPilot E400 and E500 access points, ePMP wireless distribution/backhaul and the cnMaestro cloud management system.

Cambium Networks’ package has been rolled out to more than 50 sites on Australia’s Eastern Seaboard, delivering consistent coverage, remote diagnostics and lower TCO. The deployment yielded measurable results: ePMP links providing up to 200 Mbps backhaul and 100 Mbps distribution, ship‑to‑shore links that auto‑reconnect reliably since 2014, displacement of roughly half the previous Motorola/Zebra products, fewer site visits and faster issue resolution via cnMaestro, and recurring customer orders for the cnPilot E400.
