Brihaspathi Technologies was engaged by the Kurnool Municipal Corporation to design and implement a city‑wide video surveillance system to improve public safety and support Smart City initiatives. To meet the requirement for high‑performance, scalable wireless backhaul, Brihaspathi chose Cambium Networks wireless broadband—deploying ePMP 1000 connectorized Access Points and integrated ePMP Subscriber Modules operating in the 5 GHz band.

Using Cambium Networks equipment and LINKPlanner for network design, Brihaspathi connected 120 cameras at 30 intersections to three Central Monitoring Stations via five ePMP AP locations and 30 ePMP SMs. The Cambium Networks solution delivered clear, scalable IP video (up to 100 Mbps in a 20 MHz channel), enabled intelligent traffic management and additional services (internet, conferencing, GPS), achieved strong satisfaction from the municipality, and positioned Brihaspathi for further expansion.
