Pacific DirectConnect, a Hawaii-focused IT provider serving upscale independent hotels, needed to upgrade property Wi‑Fi to meet high guest expectations—especially reliable outdoor coverage—while lowering operational costs. They chose Cambium Networks and deployed a technology suite including Wi‑Fi 6 indoor and outdoor access points (including the XV2‑23T), cnMatrix Ethernet switches and the cnMaestro X management system to support high device density and more stable networks.

Cambium Networks’ deployment delivered stronger, more reliable indoor and outdoor coverage, automatic channel optimization, and simplified management; Pacific DirectConnect reduced the number of outdoor access points in one deployment from 14 (planned with another vendor) to just 6, cutting hardware and operational costs and reducing connectivity complaints.
