A-Affordable Storage operates 31 large, metal-roofed storage facilities across Texas and needed a reliable way to keep video surveillance cameras online despite tall buildings, long distances from office networking, and severe weather. Running cable to each structure would have been costly and disruptive, so A-Affordable Storage engaged Extreme Technology and Security and deployed Cambium Networks equipment—notably the ePMP™ MP 3000 Access Points/MicroPOP radios—to deliver a wireless alternative.

Extreme Technology and Security installed 40' ROHN towers at each site and used Cambium Networks ePMP™ MP 3000 MicroPOP radios with ePMP Force 300-19 subscriber modules, managed via cnMaestro, to create a multipoint wireless network that supports the cameras. The Cambium Networks solution connected all 31 facilities (each MicroPOP can link up to 64 subscribers, with subscriber speeds up to 600 Mbps), was deployed in most locations in just a few days, and delivered a scalable, easy-to-manage, and weather‑resilient system that reduced cost and kept surveillance online.
