Clean Water Services, Oregon provides wastewater and stormwater utility services for Washington County and portions of Clackamas and Multnomah Counties. In 2002, its Development team needed to replace an outdated, hand-programmed legacy permitting system that could no longer keep up with the department’s permitting needs and unique requirements. Clean Water Services selected Calytera’s enterprise software solution powered by AMANDA.
Calytera configured AMANDA to support workflow tracking, plan review, permitting, and project follow-up across the organization. The system also expanded beyond Development Services to help the Capital group track ongoing sewer work and building projects from start to finish. As a result, Clean Water Services improved transparency with a more user-friendly public website and began exploring additional uses such as remote access and web permitting to further increase efficiency.
