The City of Bellevue, Washington, a fast-growing urban area near Seattle, faced two major challenges: its legacy system was not Y2K compatible, and separate departmental databases made information sharing difficult. To address these issues, Bellevue selected Calytera’s enterprise workflow and permitting solution, AMANDA, to support multiple departments, including building, fire, transportation, utilities, and planning.

The solution also automated annual fire inspections with IVR reporting, encrypted PINs, and confidential records for authorized personnel.
