CalmWave implemented its solution, which used transparent AI to unify data from Philips IntelliBridge and Epic systems into a single source of truth. This provided patient-specific, optimized alarm recommendations. The results were transformative: WellStar's cardiac care unit saw a 47% reduction in bedside monitor alarms and cut interruptions nearly in half, from 68 to 36 alarms per hour. This restored valuable nursing time and provided earlier alerts for patient deterioration, making the ICU significantly safer and calmer.
