Congregation Ohab Zedek, a Manhattan synagogue with more than 500 members, struggled to notify its community promptly about deaths (Baruch Dayan Ha’Emet) using manual phone calls. Repeated dialing, missed connections and hours of staff time made timely, complete outreach difficult and diverted resources from other programs.
CallFire’s Voice Broadcast allowed a single administrator to upload contacts, create a message (or use text‑to‑speech), and send hundreds of calls simultaneously with scheduling, retry and delivery-tracking features. The synagogue sent over 100 announcements resulting in more than 6,000 calls at just pennies per call, improving efficiency, ensuring timely notifications and freeing staff to focus on congregational programs.
