MoveOn.org launches IVR in 1 week with CallFire

MoveOn.org, a political non-profit with millions of members, faced a significant challenge in tracking the campaign efforts of its large, dispersed volunteer base during the 2008 presidential race. They needed a comprehensive and reliable method to aggregate data from thousands of volunteers simultaneously. To solve this, they partnered with vendor CallFire to implement its Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service.

CallFire provided a customized and scalable IVR system built on a VoiceXML platform, which allowed volunteers to call in and report their data through an automated survey.
