SAP, the world’s largest enterprise application software provider, needed to replace its legacy TEM provider to get everything online, improve reporting and user self‑service, enable historical data loads, and ensure a seamless transition with minimal SAP management. To meet these requirements SAP selected Calero‑MDSL as its new technology expense management (TEM) provider.

Calero implemented its TEM platform to deliver trusted, real‑time data and dashboard visibility, automated reporting, inventory validation, fleet‑manager and IT cost‑center insights, savings analytics and self‑certification workflows. The move was completed within expected timelines with limited IT support, giving SAP live visibility into savings and ongoing optimization across its global estate (55 countries and ~86,000 mobile devices) while leveraging Calero’s enterprise TEM capabilities.
