Atlas Tube, North America's largest producer of structural steel hollow structural sections (HSS), faced a challenge in growing market adoption because engineers found HSS connection design to be a complex and time-consuming bottleneck. To expand the use of HSS, they partnered with Calcs.com to remove this design friction and provide engineers with credible, easy-to-use tools.

Calcs.com implemented the HSS Connections Hub, a suite of engineer-built connection calculators that grew from 20 to 144 types within eight months. This solution achieved rapid adoption, reaching over 2,600 users and transforming Atlas Tube's role from a product supplier to a solution provider by giving them visibility into specification activity at the design stage.
