Creative Commons, a non-profit organization enabling the sharing of creative and academic works, faced a challenge with its outdated and complex licensing infrastructure. The code supporting its suite of over 100 licenses in 30+ languages resulted in broken URLs and a time-consuming manual update process. They partnered with Caktus Group to modernize the system.

Caktus Group implemented a new web application using Django and Python. The solution automated the translation process for over 30 languages using Transifex and created a streamlined workflow for previewing and approving new translations. This provided Creative Commons with a reliable, automated, and efficient infrastructure that will support them for the next five to ten years, saving their team a great deal of time.
