Yeovil College, a tertiary college serving around 5,000 full- and part-time students across a 14‑building campus, faced unreliable, paper‑based facilities management processes that relied on spreadsheets and handwritten tickets. To replace error-prone manual workflows and improve maintenance planning, the college selected CAFM Explorer as its Computer‑Aided Facilities Management solution.
CAFM Explorer was implemented to digitise workflows, introduce a centralised dashboard, automate job generation and store all maintenance documents in a single digital database accessible via tablets. As a result, Yeovil College eliminated piles of paperwork, reduced lost or unrecorded jobs, improved SLA reporting and planning, and achieved significant time savings in day‑to‑day FM operations using CAFM Explorer.
