The Hippodrome Casino, the UK’s largest international-style casino, needed a better way to manage facilities across its 76,000 sq. ft. venue, which also includes a 180-seat cabaret and music room and an award-winning restaurant. With the building open 24-hours every day, the team needed a system that could support proactive maintenance, compliance, and better coordination than its existing email-based process.

In 2016, The Hippodrome Casino transitioned to CAFM Explorer from Idox, using the platform to manage planned and preventative maintenance, schedule work through a web-based self-service Help Desk, and improve tracking and reporting across the estate. Idox’s CAFM Explorer helped the business generate year-on-year savings, reduce insurance costs, and improve forward planning, with Keith Collins saying it had “already paid for itself.”
