Case Study: KTO achieves a safer, fairer betting environment and prevents underage access, multi-accounting and bonus abuse with CAF's automated onboarding and CPF validation

A CAF Case Study

Preview of the KTO Case Study

How KTO ensures a safer and fairer environment for its players

KTO, a fast-growing sports betting operator with offices across Asia, Europe and Latin America, faced common industry challenges in Brazil — underage access, multi-accounting and bonus abuse — and needed automated CPF consultation tied to the Federal Revenue to improve user identification and prepare for imminent market regulation. To address this, KTO partnered with CAF and adopted CAF’s automation and onboarding solutions, including automated user registration and CPF consultation tools.

CAF’s solution validates CPFs against the Federal Revenue to ensure only regular, adult CPFs are approved, enforces one account per CPF, integrates validated IDs into payment security, and schedules periodic rechecks. As a result, KTO reports a drastic reduction in multi-accounting and promotion abuse, a safer and fairer player environment, and strengthened fraud prevention — benefits KTO says have been delivered reliably since implementing CAF in January 2022.
