How Cadence WMS helped Bob’s Transport and Storage Grow

Bob’s Transport and Storage, a Baltimore-based 3PL, has managed the world’s largest sugar manufacturer for more than 40 years from a 200,000-square-foot facility. As it prepared to move into a 400,000-square-foot warehouse, the company needed a way to reduce human error and improve track-and-trace operations while handling sugar that must stay fresh and properly documented.

In May 2016, Bob’s Transport and Storage implemented Cadre Technologies’ Cadence Warehouse Management Software. The system improved receiving accuracy, supported oldest-date-first shipping, and made it easier to create customer-specific reports through integration with Microsoft SQL Database. Bob’s Transport and Storage also cited stronger support from Cadre Technologies, and said the new system left it better prepared to attract additional warehouse clients and operate multiple accounts.
