A Cadran Case Study
Denso Europe, the European headquarters of a major global automotive parts manufacturer, was facing significant challenges with its outdated JD Edwards World software. The system was non-compliant with financial regulations like SOX and J-SOX, could not process SEPA payments, and lacked support for the IFRS accounting standard. This inefficiency required costly external consultants and manual work. To resolve this, Denso Europe partnered with vendor Cadran to implement a new solution.
Cadran successfully implemented JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 across Denso Europe's seven offices. The new system automated manual processes, resulting in a 70-80% efficiency gain in areas like payment processing. It also enabled self-management of security settings and ensured compliance, eliminating the need for expensive consultants. The collaboration with Cadran was praised for being pragmatic and hands-on, and the project was completed on time and on budget.
