West Sea, a Portuguese shipyard, faced the challenge of coordinating design work with various subcontractors and sharing the ship model with approval authorities and the vessel owner for a series of expedition cruise vessels. To meet this need, the shipyard utilized Cadmatic's design software.

The Cadmatic solution involved using CoDesigner to distribute projects to subcontractors and eBrowser to share the model externally. This enabled all parties to work from a coordinated and updated ship model. The result was the successful detail design and delivery of multiple vessels, with Cadmatic providing efficient coordination between hull and outfitting design and streamlining the production information retrieval process.
