Pella Sietas, a German shipyard, faced the challenge of designing a new type of high-powered icebreaker to meet stringent Russian classification society standards, while also needing to manage the complex related production processes. To accomplish this, the shipyard utilized Cadmatic software for hull and outfitting detail design.

The solution from Cadmatic was used for hull class approval, generating production and manufacturing drawings, and creating CAM files for fabrication. The software's efficient 3D visualization improved the design process and provided a better overview of materials.
