Melior Projekt OÜ - Elemental Skanste is the best building meeting the BREEAM criteria across the Baltic States

The customer, Melior Projekt, contributed to the BREEAM-certified Elemental Skanste office complex by designing its electrical and low-current systems, lighting, and building automation. The challenge was to design these complex systems for a highly sustainable building while adhering to strict BIM requirements, which was complicated by the building's extensive glazed facades and glass internal walls that made a comprehensive BIM model essential. For this project, Melior Projekt used Cadmatic Electrical.

The solution implemented by Cadmatic was its product model functionality, which was used to manage all equipment data and generate a comprehensive BIM model. This model contained all electrical components and enabled real-time updates across the entire project, eliminating inconsistencies in the design documentation. The result was a highly detailed and component-rich electrical model that was praised for its thoroughness, providing an excellent overview for construction and cost estimation. Cadmatic's tools helped facilitate dozens of simulations and allowed for real-time resolution of clashes, contributing to the project being named the best BREEAM-rated building in the Baltic States.
