The Finnish industrial turnkey supplier Makron sought to eliminate a highly repetitive and time-consuming manual process for generating primary series circuit diagrams for its large-scale device delivery projects. The company contacted Cadmatic to find a solution that would reduce this manual workload, which previously involved copying and amending basic layouts for over 100 engine outputs per project.

Cadmatic implemented a solution using modular generation features within its CADMATIC Electrical software. By using database-driven templates populated from Excel files, the system automates the creation of diagrams and associated data. This reduced the task of generating diagrams for 100 engine outputs from two to three weeks down to just 30 minutes, achieving a 90% readiness level for the diagrams and resulting in a standardized, high-quality design output.
