Macchi, a global supplier of industrial boilers for the oil and gas industry, needed to improve the accuracy of its detail engineering, integrate its many different engineering software packages, and enhance control during the construction phase. The company turned to Cadmatic to address these challenges, particularly for plant layout, piping design, and the generation of prefabrication materials.

The Cadmatic solution provided a 3D model that was easy to manage, significantly improving the speed and accuracy of Macchi's modeling work. The smooth integration with other software like Tekla and SolidWorks was a major benefit. Since implementation, Macchi has completed the design for five plants using Cadmatic, increasing design speed and accuracy. The vendor's tools are also being used to test Mixed Reality for enhanced construction control, further optimizing their processes.
