A Cadmatic Case Study
The customer, ITK Inseneribüroo, an Estonian electrical design company, faced the challenge of planning the complex electrical systems for a new large-scale prison facility in Tallinn. The project involved 14 buildings with nearly a thousand rooms, requiring tens of thousands of hardware components and cables, each needing detailed technical reports and connection data. To manage this efficiently, they utilized Cadmatic's CADMATIC Electrical software.
Cadmatic's solution enabled ITK Inseneribüroo to automate the creation of cable connection tables and technical reports directly from the installation drawings and a central database. By using the database features and its Excel interface, the team could efficiently manage hardware identifiers, respond to change requests, and ensure all project data remained up-to-date. This approach saved a significant amount of manual work, ensuring the accurate and efficient design of the electrical systems for the large prison complex.
