The customer, Helen Ltd, an energy company, faced the challenge of revamping an underground heat pump plant while it remained operational. They needed to integrate laser-scanned point clouds of the uneven underground cave with new 3D design models to ease installation and avoid costly clashes with existing infrastructure. Cadmatic's solution, eShare, was implemented to address this.

Cadmatic's eShare enabled the seamless integration of laser scan data with design models, allowing teams to accurately measure distances and visualize installations in context. This provided early warnings of potential collisions, preventing unexpected clashes and the extra on-site work they cause. The project supports Helen Ltd's broader goal of achieving carbon-neutral energy production by allowing for efficient, error-free upgrades to their district heating facility.
