The customer, GHENOVA, is a Spanish engineering firm that needed to improve its shipyard processes and efficiency to meet the demands of its central and northern European clients. To address this challenge, they turned to the vendor, Cadmatic, implementing its 3D design solutions for hull and outfitting design.

Cadmatic's solution enabled 3D design to begin at the basic stage, which sped up pre-coordination and shortened the detail engineering time. The software's intuitive and stable environment, particularly its powerful Co-Designer tool for distributed work, allowed over 65 designers to collaborate effectively on major projects like the World Explorer cruise ship. As a result, GHENOVA improved its ratios and methods, becoming more competitive and not ruling out expanding Cadmatic's use to its industrial projects.
