The customer, CO-REF, an Italian manufacturer of industrial compressor systems, faced challenges in designing complex, custom cooling units. They needed a solution to efficiently integrate 3D models from various suppliers, design their own parts and pipework, and create accurate installation layouts to prevent on-site obstacles. They turned to vendor CAD Schroer and its M4 PLANT plant design software to address these issues.

By implementing CAD Schroer's M4 PLANT, CO-REF gained extensive 2D/3D interfaces for data exchange and powerful 3D modeling tools. This solution minimized design errors, greatly reduced design times, and led to significant company-wide time and cost savings.
