CACI Limited helped the UK’s Leading Entertainment and Communications Company tackle a complex inventory challenge following an acquisition, which left the telecoms provider running two separate Amdocs Cramer systems: a Cramer 4 instance for Layer 1 TDM transmission records and a Cramer 5 instance for Layer 2/3 IP and Ethernet network and service records. These systems had different platforms, different software versions, uneven data quality, and limited integration with the wider BSS/OSS environment.

CACI Limited upgraded and consolidated the two environments into a single Cramer 7.5 inventory platform, migrating customisations, automation, metadata, and external interfaces while also validating reporting and supporting additional transformation work such as new metadata models and task engine templates. As a result, the customer gained a single, more accurate inventory system with improved usability and operational efficiency, plus reduced support and maintenance costs and lower Amdocs licensing requirements, delivering significant cost savings.
