Nestlé Gets Greener by Reducing Rep Miles

Nestlé, the global food company, wanted to make its Oceania field sales operation more efficient by redesigning territories and improving store coverage while reducing time spent driving. To address this challenge, Nestlé worked with CACI Limited, using its headcount analysis and territory optimisation software along with consultancy support and routing software.

CACI Limited helped Nestlé create optimised sales territories and efficient routes through workshops, optimisation tools, and ongoing licensing of the software. The result was more productive in-store time, less time on the road, and territories closer to home, helping Nestlé cut travel by around 1.7 million kilometres per year and significantly reduce its carbon footprint.
