HelloFresh worked with CACI Limited to support its expansion into a new channel: in-store retail through an exclusive Sainsbury’s contract. The challenge was to identify the store locations with the greatest opportunity so the brand could be listed in the right places and maximise its launch potential.
Using CACI’s Acorn shopper profiling and ProVision grocery catchment model, CACI Limited analysed existing customers and shopper behaviours to rank and prioritise the best Sainsbury’s stores for HelloFresh. The insights helped HelloFresh build credibility with Sainsbury’s, influence listing decisions, focus marketing on the highest-potential stores, and uncover a new retail shopper demographic, improving efficiency and sales opportunity.
