CfBT Education Trust worked with CACI Limited to respond to Ofsted’s major inspection-service reforms, which drastically reduced and reorganized providers and required CfBT to launch a new operating model within four months. The challenge was to put in place the infrastructure, resources, and systems needed to manage a large regional inspection contract across the North of England.

CACI Limited, working with Hedra business consultants, delivered a comprehensive web-based inspection management solution covering job creation, inspector matching and allocation, scheduling, tracking, report writing, quality assurance, and publishing. The system went live on time and to budget, enabled automated administration and XML reporting to Ofsted, and supported 3,000+ inspections a year with around 600 inspectors, helping CfBT deliver a high-quality, lean inspection service.
