British Red Cross reaches 1.5 million people with CACI vulnerability indicators

The British Red Cross faced the challenge of identifying local areas in the UK with the greatest need for charity help and support, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak, to ensure its services were allocated effectively. To address this, the charity worked with vendor CACI Limited and utilized its Vulnerability Indicators product.

CACI's solution provided the British Red Cross with data to index households based on clinical, financial, socioeconomic, and digital vulnerability. This enabled the charity to deploy volunteers precisely where they were needed most, meet emerging needs, and advocate for targeted support. The vulnerability modelling also provided granular data evidence to help secure funding and allowed the British Red Cross to make its analysis freely available to the public.
