Amey PLC, a leading UK provider of social, environmental and transport infrastructure services, needed a single system to support performance monitoring across one of its largest utility contracts. The contract management team required easy access to data on health and safety, completed jobs, maintenance and repairs, plus ad-hoc, standard and statutory reporting and KPI dashboards. CACI Limited was engaged to help address this challenge, using QlikView as part of the solution.

CACI Limited worked with Amey’s contract team to build a bespoke QlikView dashboard that pulled information from multiple systems, including job scheduling, HSEQ, commercial and operations. The new automated reporting environment replaced manual daily, weekly and monthly reporting, freeing the team to focus on analysis and improvement. The results included faster issue identification, better frontline access to information, and measurable year-on-year savings of £90,000 in year one through improved efficiency across fuel spend, job scheduling and damages.
