ENGIE, the world’s largest power producer, needed an enterprise-wide digital transformation platform to support IoT excellence across customer service, metering, energy management, maintenance, and operations in 70 countries. To address this challenge, ENGIE chose the C3 AI Suite on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build a scalable digital foundation for its broad energy business.

C3.ai implemented a platform that ingests data from more than 1 million connected devices and supports use cases such as gas plant performance optimization, heating and cooling efficiency, energy management, and wind turbine anomaly detection. The program trained more than 70 employees, established a center of excellence and a Digital Factory, and is projected to deliver an estimated €1.5 billion in annual economic benefit, with production applications deployed in just 3–6 months.
