Ferrara Candy Company, the leading non‑chocolate candy maker in the U.S. with brands like Brach’s and Trolli, needed to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO), lower receivables and get payments faster while keeping its line of credit small. To address these working‑capital goals, Ferrara turned to C2FO’s working capital platform to accelerate cash collections from major customers.
Using C2FO (a Market Member since June 2014), Ferrara implemented an ongoing early‑payment program that lets it offer customers accelerated payments at APRs comparable to its line of credit and provides faster visibility into discounts and deductions. The C2FO solution shortened cash conversion cycles, helped reduce DSO, improved cash flow visibility and supported Ferrara’s objective of minimizing reliance on its credit line.
