Contacta Systems Ltd, a UK manufacturer of assistive listening technology, faced the challenge of developing a new generation of its large venue audio loop drivers. They needed a device with a highly intuitive graphical LCD interface and built-in internet connectivity for remote management, requiring external expertise in Linux development and fast UI creation that was beyond their in-house capabilities. Bytesnap Design implemented a solution using their SnapUI tool for the fast development of the graphical interface on a custom Linux BSP. They configured drivers for the baseboard, developed a rotary encoder driver, and enabled cloud connectivity for remote monitoring.
