Leading foreign exchange bank boosts protection with F5 firewall

Crown Agents Bank, a finance specialist serving central banks and regulators in developing countries, was migrating to AWS and needed to strengthen security between its on-premise and cloud environments. To extend its existing protection into the cloud, the bank worked with Bytes Technology and its F5 and Check Point security stack.

Bytes Technology upgraded the F5 VE software to 1GB and deployed Check Point high availability software to support secure, resilient traffic during the migration. Bytes Technology also ensured the cloud setup met its security policies, including API inspection and encryption before services went live. As a result, Crown Agents Bank secured traffic across both environments, improved reliability, and saved £15k on the F5 upgrade plus £30k on Check Point HA software.
