To tackle this, Alexander Mann Solutions signed up to Bytes’ Cloud Platform Management (CPM) service, which was used alongside expert consultancy to identify long-term needs and potential savings.

Bytes Technology implemented daily reporting through its Quantum Power BI dashboard, supported Hybrid Benefit optimisation, Reserved Instances planning, and broader advice across file sharing, Windows 10 readiness, and endpoint security. The work is set to deliver £110,000 in EA subscription savings, £24,000 a year from Hybrid Benefit, £7,000 in estimated infrastructure savings over 12 months, and £1,100 in Windows Server license savings.
