Bytes support Isle of Anglesey County Council during their transition to remote working

Bytes Technology helped Isle of Anglesey County Council respond to the COVID-19 shift to remote working while improving visibility and security across its remote device estate. The council wanted cloud-based tools and preferred Microsoft solutions, but its existing Skype and device management setup was not suitable for remote work.

Bytes Technology recommended and supported the deployment of Microsoft 365, including Teams and Intune, with workshops and guidance from its Public Sector specialists and FastTrack team. Teams replaced Skype to enable chat, meetings, audio and video calls, while Intune improved device management and access control for laptops, tablets and mobiles. The council reported faster, more efficient collaboration, better security and confidence in managing remote devices, and it now plans to extend Intune further and move more workloads to the cloud.
