Bytes architects deliver ground-breaking AWS solution for criminal data firm

Bytes Technology worked with S-branch, a leading global analytics consultancy, to help them deploy IBM i2 Analyst’s Notebook in AWS so analysts could work remotely in a pre-configured cloud environment. The challenge was to bring a complex visual analytics tool into AWS to support fraud detection work for Crowe UK, something not normally done in that environment.

Bytes Technology used Amazon WorkSpaces to deliver the desktop-as-a-service setup, building it with infrastructure as code and adding audit logging, CloudWatch monitoring, encryption, snapshots, and cost optimisation. The solution was deployed in about a week, enabled S-branch to deliver fraud insights on time, and gave analysts secure access from anywhere while keeping costs down.
