SEE MONSTER, the large art installation created from a retired North Sea offshore platform in Weston-super-Mare, needed a complete temporary WiFi and network solution to support thousands of visitors, a broadcast studio, radio production, and site operations across a highly challenging metal structure. Bytes Digital was brought in as the local partner to design and manage the connectivity for the attraction.

Bytes Digital delivered a full network plan and installed a complete WiFi and fibre-backed network across the site, including cabling, mesh WiFi, wired and wireless studio connections, network access on the Helideck, backup power for redundancy, and support for the build and decommissioning teams. The result was a reliable temporary connectivity infrastructure that enabled broadcasting, learning, and visitor access throughout SEE MONSTER, while showcasing Bytes Digital’s expertise in large-scale event WiFi and outdoor network deployments.
