A Bynder Case Study
Nationalmuseum, Sweden’s national museum of art and design, needed a modern way to manage and share its extensive image collections. Assets were scattered across on‑site servers and folder “islands,” with inconsistent metadata, slow searching, frequent backups and bottlenecks for staff and external partners needing high‑resolution images in the right format.
Bynder’s cloud-based DAM centralized 194,000 assets, provided 24/7 access without VPNs or costly backups, and linked metadata to the museum’s collections system for consistency. Built‑in editing, version control and Collections made sharing and format delivery faster, improving workflows and helping the museum preserve, research and make its artworks more accessible.
