A Bynder Case Study
Monotype, a publicly traded design company near Boston known for fonts and expanded design assets, faced a fragmented brand experience as rapid growth and acquisitions left teams using legacy systems. With a dispersed global workforce and inconsistent access to up-to-date assets, Monotype struggled with searchability, maintenance, version control and overall usability—making it hard to ensure a consistent brand across channels.
By adopting Bynder’s DAM, Monotype centralized campaign and press collections, automated versioning and permissions, and delivered an intuitive UX that drove rapid adoption. The platform now houses ~30,000 assets, with roughly 10% of assets downloaded and about 96% of new accounts becoming active users, enabling clearer asset distribution, stronger brand consistency and a shift toward operating the design team like an internal agency.
