Selecta, Europe’s leading vending machine and specialist coffee services provider, needed to improve inventory visibility, reduce wasted engineer time, and make parts distribution more efficient across its large European network. ByBox helped address these challenges with its Supplier Direct model and Thinventory platform, giving Selecta better control over stock and a more scalable way to move parts.

ByBox implemented a direct dispatch process where parts are collected from Selecta’s suppliers and sent to the right engineer locker location, with Thinventory capturing key dispatch details such as part numbers and tracking movement end to end. Using the Blackstripe labelling module for returns, Selecta gained improved stock management, reduced stock holding, shortened the return repair loop, reduced engineer travel time, enabled pre-8am deliveries, and improved part-level tracking to support business growth.
