Beverage Manufacturer, a global soft drinks leader with more than $40 billion in net revenue, wanted to understand how portfolio changes could improve performance across a core product line. The company worked with Buynomics and its Revenue Growth Management platform to test pack-size and pricing changes while evaluating impacts at the category, portfolio, and SKU levels.
Using Buynomics, the team simulated two strategies: replacing 6-bottle packs with 4-bottle packs for select brands, and introducing a new 2-bottle pack alongside the existing 6-bottle pack. The analysis showed that the first option would hurt overall portfolio performance, but the new 2-bottle pack strategy drove a 2.9% increase in total volume and a 6.9% increase in revenue, helping Beverage Manufacturer make more profitable, data-driven decisions with Buynomics.
