CoralTree Hospitality, a global operator of independent, boutique, and lifestyle hotels (formerly Two Roads Hospitality) faced a complex, manual benefits environment: its HRIS benefits module forced HR staff to enroll employees one-by-one across many systems, while a young, multi-lingual, high-turnover workforce wanted self-service enrollment on their own devices. Managing benefits for 110 hotels (85 in the U.S.), more than 15,000 employees and properties owned by 70+ different owners created many unique plan structures that the existing setup couldn’t handle efficiently.

Businessolver implemented its Benefitsolver platform as a single, integrated hub for benefits administration, ACA compliance, reporting and carrier/payroll connections. The rollout automated and streamlined previously manual processes, eliminated much of the administrative burden for the small HR team managing 85 properties, improved employee communications with a branded portal, enabled multilingual self-enrollment, and gave workers decision support via the MyChoice tool—resulting in a more manageable, “painless” administration and a lower total cost of ownership for CoralTree Hospitality.
